As decentralized networks get bigger, they usually get noisier. More nodes mean more messages — coordination, endless updates, and the whole thing starts to drag. Walrus flips this: its communication overhead barely changes, no matter how many nodes join.
It stores data in fragments, coordinates locally, and sends recovery pings only when something actually needs attention.
