They started off on Base, Coinbase’s Layer-2 network. Now, the team’s talking about something bigger: moving to their own custom Layer-1 blockchain.
At first, this might just sound like another tech upgrade. But if you’ve been around crypto for a while, you know that changing infrastructure usually means a project is thinking long-term.
So, why did they pick Base to begin with?
Honestly, it makes a lot of sense for a new protocol:
